He was inspired by one of my cats (now I'm catless, *sniffles* ) but he used to sit with his tongue sticking out, like he'd forgotten to put it away after he was done cleaning.

Thanks :D He was inspired by one of my previous cats, who often seemed to forget to put his tongue back in after licking himself :D (though maybe it was just that his butt tasted that gross, I was never sure).

I keep coming back to this picture as one of my all time favs...

I keep thinking that he looks so docile... and as you already said.. thoughtful as though pondering something deep.... none the less.. despite all the snaggle-fangs and horns and whatnot.. he looks "cute" to me... XD

I know.. cute aint your thing but, I swear he does! XD

I think it's that big, round eye that does it. Heh, I know what you mean... but this is probably about as close to cute as I'm likely to get XD
