And here we have a look into Midnight's past. Any guesses as to who this is? anyone?

if you guessed "Midnight's father" CONGRATZ, you're right. this is Sota Yamikidate, chief of the Colias Dragon village that Midnight grew up in and, in the "current" timeline...long, long deceased. This was from a project way, WAAAAY back when Neffy was originally going to draw a comic depicting Midnight's backstory. This project fell through but I still have some of the concept sketches for it, as wel as page 1 of said comic series. (we never got past that point). Sota is where Midnight got his Nature element from, and was the primary one who taught Midnight to fight.
