Now this one has to be one of my favourite pieces of film work. Not only is the scene just bonkers fun .. but writing serious fantasy music to go along with the antics happening in the film was a real treat.

Arriving at closing time at a local food store .. our 4 interpid heroe's attempt to get past the security guard that doesn't want to let them in .. because it's closing time! But using distraction tactics that would make a 4 year old blush .. they manage to enter and relentlessly pursue their prized goal .. a lunch meal (Intended for one of the players kids for school tomorrow .... yeah you kinda have to see the film otherwise it doesn't seem terribly funny). But their breaking in attracts the attention of 'Mitch' .. the stores' night manager who becomes an evil king and sends his orcish henchmen to battle the warriors.

And all is going well, the lunch pack is found .. but then!?! .. HORROR!!! .. As another kid picks up the very last one (and turns into a demon while she's at it), and the quest is brought to absolute ruin.
Reading this you can kinda now see what the music is doing.

So much fun to write this .. I think you can tell. Very complex too, lots of articulations with the string sections and I forget how long this took me to write but I know I was at it over several days.
