It feels like it's been awhile since I created a new character, glad to be back at it. I know for the most part my characters are pretty fan service'y, not that I feel bad about that it's sort of by design. But for Amber, and her later to revealed 'owner' Keith I took a different approach, wanting to go more for character over looks. Not that they can't be attractive, that's not what I mean. But giving them realistic proportions and more-so personality. I'm sure you get what I mean.

Amber's life growing up as been sporadic to say the least, bought by her first family as an infant she was taken away again after the first year there when the family declared bankruptcy and she was repossessed. Back at a dealership as a 1yr old car is a hard spot to be, too young to be drivable, but too old to put out front in the new-born pen where all the customers buy them like hot-cakes. You're basically stuck in limbo and it's quite comparable to being a human child stuck in the foster system. Being in the 1yr old category meant putting her in the discount lot in order to help her get sold, it's just a quirk of human psychology that young cars are more easily sold then young child cars.. there's a sort of parental attachment or something there.

This early 'abandonment' had it's effect on Amber, and growing up she went through several owners. Ones that gave her about as much affection as you'd expect a second/third-hand car would get, being on discount meaning usually owners of more sketchy standards as well. This pattern of never fully being able to settle down or have long term attachments lead Amber develop a natural disassociation to people around her, and a bit of a nihilistic and hopeless outlook. Why even try to get close to anyone they'll all go away eventually anyway? Bullying at a young age by the other young cars in the discount lot left her with a distrust of others and a fair bit of body image issues. Because of this you'll often find her bundled and covered up when out and about in public.

As an outlook for her frustrations and to express herself she turned to music and body modification, possessing several tattoos and piercings and a self-taught skill of playing the guitar. She enjoys the grunge scene, often laying back to some Carn (alternate universe Korn), Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Rob Zombie, even a little Rammstein from time to time. Just lay back to the jams, strike up a car-blunt and try to loose herself for awhile.
