Otters can be difficult to get photos of as they never seem to stop moving long enough!

You may well be right there. The otter enclosure was boarded off on my last visit so I didn't get a refresher.
I am familiar with the utterly bonkers NA river otters at New Forest Wildlife Centre. The Bristol otters were never so active in daytime so I thought of them as the eurasians, but there are online references listing them as canadians.
