With Canadian National Railway's acquisition of my personal favourite railroad, BC Rail (formerly known as the British Columbia Railway and before that, Pacific Great Eastern), rolling stock and locomotives have been showing up all over the CN system, from BC to Quebec, and Chicago to New Orleans. This BCR boxcar is seen here in CN's Joliet Yard on the former Elgin, Joliet & Eastern (the "J") in Joliet, Illinois. It is still in a paint scheme that was replaced in 1984!

You mean, with the wholesale handing over of BC Rail to CN Rail...
I'm a bit annoyed about that; I'm still sore about the selloff of British Rail to a bunch of mindless jerks who will be the first against the wall when the revolution comes. (The transfer of the Mid-Kent Line, my local train line at the time, was done on my birthday, to rub salt in the wound.)
