They really should! I know HungotheNomster would love to see his doggo rendered in high poly 3D. Hell if Capcom wants to save a buck I'm sure the fans would except a sprite based game. 2D still isn't dead.

Not only that, but they can do a lot more lore like they did with Samurai Showdown and Street fighters. Heck, even make more characters. Maybe young adult Anita.
