I've been rediscovering Iron Maiden recently, and resultantly wrote this instrumental sketch up inside an hour. I'm sorry about the poncey title, but it'll make sense if I ever get to including this in a fairly large concept album project that I've been thinking about for some time.

Pure MIDI cuts off the last note all the time for me, which is why it might sound off (I must encourage you to listen to the render of it linked in the description, too!) - the start is actually the part that I would probably replace in the whole thing, because my plan - though ambitious - is to make it one album-length piece of music (that is, identifiable separate songs, but that lead seamlessly into each other).

I immediately recognized Phantom of the Opera from the mentioned artist, nice improvisation! I couldn't imagine that it could sound this good in plain midi :) (Timidity with Fluid soundfont) Go for it, this has a somewhat different style than your usual compositions, I liked the way how this turned out!
