Indeed. But there were many time during the comic where it really feels like a anime, like you would need to do is animate it, Japanese dub it and give it a opening lol. Heck Ruby's outfit when they met her at the peir reminded me of Asuka's first apperance in NGE
Thought it looked familiar, but admittedly I don't really think much of sports so would not have thought of it as tennis gear (which is really a weak point for me as I really need to research more on sports for writing purposes).
