Kyoko Looks Good In Pink [May 5th 2022]
About this time, there was a gap of about a month between pieces of artwork - I think I was concentrating on more model sheets. Anyway, this piece came about after I spent an evening browsing the Retrofuturism tag on Tumblr - there was this one piece of artwork I'd seen which I really liked, and inspired me to do this piece. I actually wanted to use it as a reference, but when I went to look for it again, I couldn't find it. All I remembered was that the subject was wearing a one-piece swimsuit and hot-pink sunglasses. So naturally those were the only elements that carried over.
Nonetheless, Kyoko does indeed look very good in pink. She also appears to be very cold, going by how much her nipples are showing through her swimsuit. British summers, eh?
