WAAAA! Catling wanted to do something simple, a colored sketch, a chibi too, and I usually don't care for chibi all that much BUT it's Catling ;_; I knew whatever would come from this it would be adorable AND LOOK!
RIGHT OUT OF THE GATE! When she showed me the super rough sketch of the pose she was thinking of I SCREAMED! It was the cutest thing, her expression, how much fun she's having, it's just so precious ;_; Originally I had pitched my usual favorite outfit - cute printed t-shirt, shorts, velcro shoes, you know the look! It eventually turned into something more sporty and 90's nostalgia themed though!
Early on I vied to ruin this image by asking if she was okay with doing some padding waistband peek, and mercifully she was okay with it :D I think it's inconsequential enough that it doesn't ruin the image or anything, but it's special to me nonetheless ♥ I actually ended up giving her a bit extra in the end for her to edit that out so she'd have a version she could post without getting any odd looks.
THIS IS THE CUTEST THING EVER! The pastels are just ADORABLE here! Penelope suits them very well, but there's just something magical about Catling colors :D I love the color scheme selected here! It features my favorite green which is a big win for me, and all the adjacent pastels are super cute as well! This is such a cute little outfit, I adore all the safety gear she has on, it has such a 90's feel to it and I'm all about that!
I don't really like getting her drawn with digitigrade legs like this, but since it was a chibi, and most importantly it was super cute, I decided to let her have her fun with it :D She wanted something super toony from the start and I was all for it. I ALSO don't often put her in situations like this due to her being basically blind, but hey it made for SUCH a cute image XD
She suggested a follow up image with her having crash landed, but is being tended to by someone with cute baind-aids. I really want to see that one happen sometime, but we have SO many ideas in our backlog...HOPEFULLY SOON!
