⦁ Biography: Burgundy is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena; being born as part of one of the smaller batch of 1/2 mermaids. In her case being the 10th line & the line that saw the birth of her older 1/2 merman brothers Ichiro & Jiro. She came in a 3 day gap between them & her younger sisters Chorale & Elegy. Burgundy is the type of girl who has the thrill of adventure that burns in her blood, which means she's the type that does not like to be confined for very long & gets antsy if she doesn't get outside & play at least once per week. Even so, her parents took her; along with a number of her other siblings; older brothers included, to the Battle Network universe. This at first seemed to be a mistake, but she adapted amazingly well & even more so once her father presented her with a PET holding the Netnavis BoomerKuwanger.EXE & GravityBeetle.EXE; whom she bonded with immediately due to her love for beetles. She also proved to be a popular hit with the other students in Class 5-A along with her siblings (Save for Shinju, Bailey, Suite, and Marzipan who're too old to be elementary students & their parents being teachers alongside Ms. Mari) going as far as to showcase a knack for virus busting & netbattles as well. And despite being a little girl, Burgundy has lent a helping hand when necessary with one of her bravest actions was trying to break open the way to help save Mamoru when the Seaside Hospital came under attack from World 3; sabotaging a system of roots in the elevators so that her family & friends can get through to their target easier. Even before then, Burgundy's heart was in the right place and is willing to be of assistance in any way she can. Burgundy is an adventurous little girl who is always eager to go out & see the world, but she never strays too far from safety. Like her other kid siblings, she is off-the-charts adorable & she knows it. Coming from a spoiled sweet background like the rest of her family, she is rightfully bothered by those who would use their high statuses to get what they want instead of simply asking, or working for it. However, Burgundy has a really bad habit of jumping to conclusions, and she often has to be corrected. Once, she automatically assumed that since Shantae was 1/2 genie, she concluded that this meant she could do the many impressions that the Genie from Aladdin is always doing; and had to be told that this was not so. Another time is when she immediately assumed Higsby's new chip shop was a World 3 hideaway to steal rare chips. Though she was quick to learn that this was not the case & has not made this mistake again. Still, it's a habit that's being worked on to this day. Like Marimba, Burgundy has a great fascination with insects, but she takes much more interest in the beetle family and always gets excited when she spots one in her vicinity; going as far as to identify what species it is. However, she holds no love for biting flies, or mosquitoes. A walking encyclopedia on beetles.
⦁ Abilities: Due to being 1/2 mermaid, Burgundy is capable of taking on her mermaid form at any point she enters water, but prefers the water to be fresh, sea, or at least clean. Burgundy has a huge amount of knowledge about beetles and, as mentioned above, can easily identify what type of beetle she's spotted at a distance & how to approach said beetle carefully. She is a sharp netbattler as she can operate her navis and another's navi without so much as a single instruction right off the bat. She also has immense knowledge of the program advance & will not hesitate to form one once the opportunity shows itself.

He was made using fragments of data based on beetles & this data was even used to produce his brother GravityBeetle.EXE. When he & his brother were presented to Burgundy, it was a unbreakable friendship in the making right then & there. BoomerKuwanger.EXE bears an immense resemblance to the former Maverick Hunter he is modeled after, right down the slimness of his forearms & legs; using his original look as a basis, but any parts that look mechanical are made to have the netnavi appearance instead & his mandibles are made to look like real beetle mandibles instead of simply being pipes. The cutter on his head also has 4 spikes each on the inside to give it the appearance of a stag beetle's jaws for an extra grip when using dead lift. The spikes on his forearms & legs are also a few inches longer & a bit more pronounced. He is also programmed with the ability to fly instead of just being able to dash. In addition, the maverick symbol on the abdomen is replaced with a unique navi mark; which is a blue stag beetle's jaws clashing with a red rhino beetle's horn in front of a green swampy background. BoomerKuwanger.EXE was used extensively throughout the first virus busting lessons & he even got his first net battle; going up against GutsMan.EXE due to Dex claiming he'll easily squash BoomerKuwanger.EXE. He was quick to eat his words as BoomerKuwanger.EXE easily handed GutsMan.EXE yet another loss in a string of losses he's been facing. Burgundy first used him to his fullest extent during the time NeedleMan.EXE went rampant in Yai's garden computer where he was able to defeat the out of control NeedleMan.EXE. He was even used as Burgundy's means to clear away vines & roots in the Seaside Hospital as her will to save Mamoru was even greater than that of Lan's was, though his was still great as well. BoomerKuwanger.EXE also was permitted to land the finishing blow on PlantMan.EXE, but allowing him to remain active & redeem himself alongside his operator Anette. A loyal soldier at heart, BoomerKuwanger.EXE's services are welcomed should he offer himself up. BoomerKuwanger.EXE has a much better sense of right & wrong compared to the original maverick, who is a nihilist & therefor makes much more rational decisions instead of going by logic like the original. Despite this, he does have issues agreeing or disagreeing on issues that are too confusing to understanding and will ask if he can get it in simpler terms. He shares his operators love for woodlands, and her dislike of mosquitoes. For good reason. His abilities & attacks are as follows.

⦁ Spike Dash: Same as Dash, but BoomerKuwanger.EXE uses the spikes on his forearms for additional damage, and it pierces obstacles to the point they'll break.
⦁ Boomerang Cutter: BoomerKuwanger.EXE throws the cutter on his head at the closest target making it hit the target 4 times before returning to BoomerKuwanger.EXE. If there's a mystery data on the battle field, the cutter will first collect the data before returning.
⦁ Dead Lift: At any time BoomerKuwanger.EXE performs a dash & bumps into an obstacle, he will grab the obstacle & throw it at a random target on the battlefield. If he comes into contact with an enemy navi or virus, he will grab & throw them instead. The latter is more damaging than the former surprisingly enough. Though some foes are too big to be thrown.
⦁ Bug Buzz: BoomerKuwanger.EXE unfurls his wings & flaps them to release a loud buzzing sound that hits 1 square immediately in front of him & spreads 3 squares wide soon after. Those hit by the pulse may become confused, or paralyzed.
⦁ Hyper Cutter: BoomerKuwanger.EXE's ultimate attack. He takes 4 seconds to charge up power before launching 4 super sized cutters that rip across the enemy field like a Giant Hook attack. The tradeoff is that this is slightly weaker than the Giant Hook giga chip, but the fact it hits 4 times instead of 2 makes up for it.

The spikes on his arms can merge into one to be used for defense. His horn remains unchanged from the original's, but the blades on it can be retracted when not in battle. He also wears his navi mark on his chest, and the base of his horn, which the same as BoomerKuwanger.EXE's mark, but with the red & blue reversed. And just like BoomerKuwanger.EXE, he has been programmed with the power of flight. Though GravityBeetle.EXE did not take part much in the first virus busting lessons, he still got to showcase some of his talents in a netbattle when he was challenged to a battle by a visiting Mary & her navi Ring.EXE. The latter expected an easy win, but Burgundy & GravityBeetle.EXE proved to be in much better synch than Ring.EXE & Mary were, so the challengers lost rather quickly. His gravity manipulating skills were put to effective use during the Zero Virus outbreak. When exploring the strange gravity area for clues to the Zero Virus, GravityBeetle.EXE managed to stabilize gravity constantly without once needing to rest for a small while, and was even allowed to delete GravityMan.EXE by himself. However, the Zero Gravity area saw him taking a back seat since it was like space; and space has little gravity to control. Even so, GravityBeetle.EXE is always eager to help out the cause when his operator is needed. GravityBeetle.EXE may appear intimidating, but he has a gentle soul and is quite approachable. However, he does tend to have a sharp tongue on occasion, but he nonetheless means well. He seems to like it when physics are being taught, but he does not like the idea of going into places that resemble outer space. His abilities & attacks are as follows.

⦁ Megahorn: A stronger version of horn attack. GravityBeetle.EXE turns invincible & dashes forward. Should he catch a target, he will toss them upward before jumping up & slamming them down with the blades on his horn for Sword Attributed damage.
⦁ X-Scissor: GravityBeetle.EXE morphs the spikes on his arms into blades & slashes in an X fashion; hence the name, 3 times. The center hurts the most. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Gravity Well: GravityBeetle.EXE's ultimate attack. He launches a gravity sphere up into the air & forms a black hole that covers the whole arena in a gravity field that slows down all opponents & prevents fliers from flying, and disables Air Shoes & Float Shoes completely as long as the well is active. It also sucks up & shoots back out obstacles on the field except for Mystery Data. Should an opponent be flung into the Gravity Well via GravityBeetle.EXE's Megahorn upon making contact with the attack, they will be transported into a very damaging realm before being spat back onto the arena; suffering an immense amount of damage upon returning as well.

⦁ Megahorn: A stronger version of horn attack. GravityBeetle.EXE turns invincible & dashes forward. Should he catch a target, he will toss them upward before jumping up & slamming them down with the blades on his horn for Sword Attributed damage.
⦁ X-Scissor: GravityBeetle.EXE morphs the spikes on his arms into blades & slashes in an X fashion; hence the name, 3 times. The center hurts the most. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Gravity Well: GravityBeetle.EXE's ultimate attack. He launches a gravity sphere up into the air & forms a black hole that covers the whole arena in a gravity field that slows down all opponents & prevents fliers from flying, and disables Air Shoes & Float Shoes completely as long as the well is active. It also sucks up & shoots back out obstacles on the field except for Mystery Data. Should an opponent be flung into the Gravity Well via GravityBeetle.EXE's Megahorn upon making contact with the attack, they will be transported into a very damaging realm before being spat back onto the arena; suffering an immense amount of damage upon returning as well.
