Lakeguts another of the wonderful knight dogs.
This time Holt, the deep-voiced lad with the sword and shield. Love the earth tones his design has, with all the greens and browns.
Scene is supposed to be like a castle or a dungeon, trapped between an opponent he's turning to face and the unknown in the dark doorway at the end of the corridor.

I must embrace this drawing!
I am finally commenting on this properly somewhere, and I just realized that i haven't exactly drawn or written my boys in a proper dungeon environment, although I might have to fix that soon! Bravo on getting the sword and shield combo down as I know it's quite the handful to draw all that equipment literally! I think you've outdone yourself on the background here. I already know youre so good at lighting, but your perspective has really improved as well! I LOVE looking at this one. A great official first piece for Holt!

I'm sure you'll get around to it eventually, castles still exist in their time. I worked with the sword and shield combo alot with an old OC, so I know a bit how they work. I do also like the angle the shot has, I rotated that arm so many times, but eventually it clicked and looks cool.
I'm glad the first full piece of Holt could be good.
