Not really, he kinda got used to it. The only outfits he used to hate were the ones he was forced to wear as a teen. But now he can do basically whatever he wants so he wears all kinds of stuff and this one is something like his "ceremonial" suit (one of many, though).
The reason he has that weird smile is that he's kinda tired of waiting for the photographer to take the photo and worries that the flashlight will spoil painting on the background.
