This is bad comedy.

Now that I've gotten that obligatory line out of the way...

The Robot Enhanced Design (R.E.D.) toyline is a range of Transformers figures that are meant to be more akin to traditional action figures (similar to the Action Masters from days of yore). I had no interest in these as a Transformers figure that doesn't transform pretty much defeats the purpose. but I took an interest in Ultra Magnus and Coronation Starscream, so when I went to Walmart and found the latter, I picked him up (I doubt I'll ever be able to get that Studio Series figure anyways).

For what this figure is, it's pretty good. I wish they'd used less rubbery plastic for it, but I don't feel like I can break this plastic, so I guess it evens out. One thing I really like is that the cape is cloth, which I wasn't expecting at all (box made it seem like plastic). Not much else to say here.

If you want a transformers figure but don't care about the transformation part of it, then R.E.D. is for you. Otherwise, there's plenty of other options out there.
