There's some fan theories my fic relies on being true (but no, I understand these things probably aren't cannon to the "real" poke-verse) so please don't feel it necessary to "correct" my lore. Remember this is a work of fiction. a FAN fiction. It isn't destined to be good. It's just what pops into my mind whenever Pokemon becomes the fixation of the week.

Some theories are:
There's more than one Mew in existence, however they became extremely rare as other Pokemon species began to arise.
Arceus created Mew
Ditto are failed Mew clones. And a cloning accident made hundreds of them.
Pokemon who are trapped in their Pokeballs for too long can go crazy and corrupt into a MissingNo.
Giratina is not the "Satan" of Pokemon, but the proof of antimater. However, Arceus is still the creator.

Celes Brite grew up in Blackthorn village. As such, her starter was a Dratini she called Izzy. Izzy eventually became a Dragonite in her 20s. But on her initial adventure, she meets a brooding emo kid from Hoenn with a Metang. All the regions coexist on the same continent or something. This isn't an official bio, lol. Anyway, she meets him wandering around lost in Ilex Forest. She's not doing so hot herself with directions. Celebi vaguely leads them out of the forest when it rains, and then they part ways for a time after that. broody-brood from Hoenn doesn't think Celebi helped them but Celes KNOWS it did. That was her first taste of the mythicals. Mew vaguely stalks her throughout her story, but reveals itself to her when she gets super down about something.

She hooks up with my flavor of Team Galactic in her teens, where that brooding emo kid from before wound up. They question themselves and leave the team quietly. They eventually wind up on the Southern Island, where they lived alone, in peace. And that's where the Mew that stalks her is from, so it's happy to be back in it's element.

Mew in my world have reflective and slightly iridescent fur, making it difficult to see if one is a shiny or not. They're small and move around quickly to boot. Note: Celes's Mew or any of her Pokemon are not shiny.

At present, her team is made up of:
Dragonite ♂: Izzy
Porygon Z: Z
Centiskorch ♂: Skorch
Lopunny ♂: Bouncy
Eelektross ♂: Fluffy
Mew: Mew

I'm thinking the story would begin around her and her boyfriend in their little beach-hut thing with their teams. They hear on the news that Team Galactic is at it again, and feel a sense of responsibility to stop them, so they go back to the mainland and story happens.
