Doggust 2022 - #9, Arcanine and Growlithe
February 27th, 1996. Monster.
I like imagining what it'd be like if Pokemon were real. I think a lotta their experiences would be like their real-life animal counterparts', just with their sapience making everything all fucked up lol. Here I was thinking about the experiences of feral dogs, which are mostly a rarity in The States but crop up en masse elsewhere. Either monster control or individual good samaritans/pokeshelter volunteers heard tell of a wild Arcanine mother who had claimed a half-burned down abandoned house in their rural neighborhood, and they're here to secure her and her low-level little ones. The Growlithe pups, of course, are no thoughts head empty about the whole thing.
