IAS-M3A T2: (Infantry armor system, military type II)

"Currently-fielded suit of lightweight armor, commonly worn by law enforcement, security, and backline military forces. Featuring full diamondoid-fullerene components and plates, the M3 was one of the first T2’s with energy shielding tech, giving the wearer a bit more protection than normally afforded by other lightweight armor systems. The M3 is often seen worn by station security and port authority, usually onboard orbital ports tethered to the few territories allowing foreign trade and visitors."
