When our favorite golden dragon goes on his adventures, he likes one thing and one thing only. That thing being is loot. One day we’ll have to dive into his treasury room to see the neat items he’s managed to collect over the years, but this time we’ll be talking about one of the first items he’s ever collected that sticks with him to this day.

His usual dungeon dive into the unknown gets his heart pumping being excited to what he could find today. Though today was a special day as Warez stumbled himself into a hidden secret room, a room behind the walls from the common path. Scattered across the room’s floor there was treasure all around from gold to jewels to even some priceless artifacts. After frolicking around in the spoils, something lies in the center of the room that catches the dragon’s eye. As he approached it he sees a chest with an ominous aura bursting from the cracks and the eyes of the skull on the front began to glow. Not wanting to think of the repercussions, without hesitation he opens up the chest expecting to find something extremely cursed but is taken a little back when he pulls out what appears to be “Headphones? Why would these be in a chest.” Warez said before looking like a dork, lifting the item in the air, and getting in a pose while singing a little jingle that be obtained an item.

Even though he found this, he already had his own pair of headphones and placed them back in the chest and closes it. He begins to walk away and notices his hand feels like it’s grabbing something, but mysteriously the orange headphones were back in his hand. He was a little confused but turned back around and placed the item back in the chest once more. With his fist clenched this time he turns around and notices his shoulders feel a slightest bit heavier. The dragon puts his hands around his neck to find them hanging around his neck. “Aaah what’s going on?!” In fear Warez rips off the headphones and chucks them across the room. He slowly backs away towards the entrance but feels something cover his ears. Already having an idea on what it could be, he pulls them off and just looks at them trying to figure out what was doing this or why this was happening.

Since nothing was coming to mind he pulls out his Omnibook, flips to a blank page and says “Appraise!” The book begins to glow and characters begin to fill the page eventually creating words. An image of the headphones appears as another one is shown of a blank character wearing them and dancing. When the book begins to settle down Warez begins to read what it had wrote down.

Cursed Headphone of Never Ending Dance and Pleasure
These mystical headphones seem like your average medium for music listening but in turn are a little more diabolical than they appear. As a user listens to a song it will force the user to dance to the beat until the song expires. Don’t even think about leaving this item for as soon as someone picks it up, it is bounded to them for all eternity until they pass on, so dropping it only puts it back in your inventory.


Warez was disturbed with what he just read, so he thought to himself, “ok so I’ll just never put them on, problem solved.” But this golden dragon was gonna have his world flipped upside down soon enough.
