The purple slime monster is capable of rapid exponential proliferation which is the perfect means for capturing prey by surprise. In its early life-form, it is no larger than a typical coin, but once in contact with human skin the slime expands and overtakes its prey in the span of 30 seconds or less.
The prey might struggle, but the slime is incredibly sticky. It typically coats each limb individually, but if the prey touches another area of its body that is also covered in the slime, it will merge into one solid shape.
This is Lucas, a lucky test subject. Lucas made the mistake of touching his face to try and stop the slime from covering his mouth and nose. This only caused his hands to become stuck to his head, and of course, it didn’t stop the slime, either.
Soon the slime completely overtook him and he was reduced to nothing more than a slimy ball struggling around on the ground with no chance of escape until the guards decide to free him.
