Life is different these days. Winter is finally arriving, more and more christmas decoration apperars on houses and on the streets, and shops are doing their best to spread some early form of happy-holiday feelings to create a warm, cozy atmosphere. Yet I'm driving to the hospital almost every day, visiting my father who suffered a brain infarct several weeks ago and is undergoing rehabilitation. It's still unknown whether we'll be celebrating christmas eve at the hospital with him, or if there'll be a possbility to have him stay at home, even if just for a day or two.

Gifting an advent calendar is rather usual here, and we decided to create a very special one for him. With lots of encouraging letters, jokes, pictures, various odds and ends. We did recordings of his grandchildren playing various instruments they've learned, and of course, encouraging words and wishes. This piece of music is one of my contributions.
