This is the idea I been wanting to try out for a while to but I'm not sure if you guys will like this idea. It's something like a tale and would be better as a full story or something like that rather than one pic but still... Hope you enjoy even this is just one pic!

The story here is not that hard to follow, the basic plot is about this little man who is currently on a quest searching for his hometown but it is not because he's lost and can't find a way home. His hometown was shrunk down by some crazy group of mages and taken away along with people inside, his family and friends, he happened to be outside the town at the moment but able to saw everything from afar. He heard some people might mad enough to pull out something like this but he never dare to think it would happened to his hometown. That's why this young man is on his quest, chase after those freaks and get his hometown back but it took him for a while until today. He just walked into random shop in the town he currently in just so he might get his hand on some useful item to chase after the people who took his village but what he saw is...
His hometown, in a glass jar, like it was a collection or something! He quickly told the owner of the shop right away that this is his missing hometown he been looking for, why it ended up here? But the owner said he don't know what he talking about and said this is just a model, a collection, nothing else but the boy don't buy it, this must be his hometown!!! He even saw tiny people in there too! But the owner still telling him this is a model and refuse to hand him to the young man for free! He have to pay for it if he really want it! Why here!? Is this owner guy happened to be an accomplice of those mages that shrunk his town? Or those mage just handed it to this owner and the owner just greedy but really didn't know the truth about this? He's not sure but right now, he care about getting his hometown back! But the price for his hometown is too high!!! He can't afford to buy it and from the look of this owner, he might adding more price the next time he visit the shop because he's greedy! And there's a possibility for someone else to come and buy it before he can too! If that happened, it going to be way more hand to buy it from those people and some might even out right refuse!!! Agh!!! What is he going to do!?

Look like his quest for his hometown is not going to end easily... Let's hope he can rescue his hometown soon! For now, we don't know if he can or not but free feel to think about the next part as you see fit or maybe even commission me to... *Cough* *Cough* Sorry! Anyway! Nice theme!
I would like to imagine that the merchant is just greedy and don't know the truth behind this.
Also can't stop thinking on a continuation where when the guy comes back after a long time finally with the money to buy it, the merchant tells him he already sell it a long time ago to another person, in which is also unaware about it being a real shrunken village with villagers inside and just bought it because it looked neat to place as a decoration.

Yeah, glad you like the theme, I also thinking that the story would go like that (Sell to someone else before the main character can buy it himself) which it fun to think! The adventure to save his hometown is not going to be like walk in a park, isn't it? And thinking who or what kind of person next owner who buy the village going to be is also fun, like, maybe that person is really like the village as decoration and refuse to give it away even the main character offer the money and maybe the main character have to sneak in or something like that! So much can happen for the next part!
