My little lampoon of the Little Engine that Could story.
I had the idea for this from thinking about the story for a while and wanted to make a silly parody of it. This includes hiding little references to the history of the tale.
Anyway, enjoy my lampooning of the Little Engine that Could.

In Australia we were still using chain link couplings until the 1970's (possibly even the 1980's; a lot of our diesel locomotives were built with buffers, and I actually liked the look of them). There were a number of stories of chains breaking on the crests of hills. The drivers needed to be especially careful.
You know, my friend, if your back is in that much pain, you should have it looked by a doctor. And I mean the kind of doctor that treats the cause, not just the symptoms. Trust me. Most doctors, MD's in particular, only treat symptoms, not whatever it is that causes them. And even if it is brought on by age, you don't have to let the pain become a constant part of your everyday life.
