This particular page is a tad more cartoony that I intended for it to be. Also the absolute horror of those text bubbles are on full display here.... Oh and Alex's super nerdy childish personality.

Again, I have to point out this was set during a time when people still used physical DISKS for both games and music. In the original draft I made for the story, they actually used tapes for music, not cds. The reason why I changed it was to make it feel slightly more modern for the audience. Kind of took away from a plot point, thus the reveal of what the present actually is will be kind of unbelievable.

Oh and the refference on this page is actually just Alex's shirt. It's dumb and extremely obscure (AKA personal joke). It's the logo for the "Furry Fighters League". It was something I introduced with my very first FA story. (Thank goodness I improved since then...) It doesn't look like an "FFL" because I created my own (very stupidly designed) font for the story world. Thus, My Master's Will is actually set in my own fictional universe of Calypsia.... or at least they have a show about it or something.... Probably best to think of this as college life in the early 2000's.
