⦁ Biography: ShieldSheldon.EXE is one of two additional Aqua-Type Netnavis created by Junichiro's beloved mermaid wife Palutena from a part of leftover aqua data she had some time ago after she had made TidalWhale.EXE, WaveMan.EXE, and Neptune.EXE. ShieldSheldon.EXE was made from one such half; the other being BurstMan.EXE. ShieldSheldon.EXE resembles the maverick he is named after right down to the shells on his shoulders, but whereas the original has a green diamond on his head, ShieldSheldon.EXE's diamond is blue, as is the center gem in the center of his chest. The other blue gems are instead red. And while the white areas remain white, the yellow areas aside from his mouth are instead a lovely purple while his pink tones take on a sort of hot pink tone. The shells on his shoulders retain the large enough size for him to fit into them, but have red & blue shades to them instead of just being mostly white. When not in battle, they simply act as pauldrons. In the Battle Network universe, he was used by Palutena to act as a battle instructor, teaching the fundamentals of defense in a netbattle, but not only did he give verbal instructions, he also demonstrated them through an actual battle where he was pitted against a visiting Mary & Ring.EXE, but Ring.EXE was handily beaten by ShieldSheldon.EXE. His defensive abilities were on full display when he & his operator were able to catch up to Dusk & his navi ShadowMan.EXE at the end of the Official's main computer despite the others needing to catch up to help stop him. He put up a tremendous fight against ShadowMan.EXE, and was successful in buying time for his comrades to arrive on the scene before ShadowMan.EXE was able to deliver a killing blow that would surely have deleted ShieldSheldon.EXE. Even so, he still provided help in the rest of the battle, and continues to be a most viable asset when called upon. ShieldSheldon.EXE is as big a gentleman one might expect; even being close to being as such to rivaling even Glide.EXE in a sense. Though faithful & dutiful, he can sometimes get a bit overzealous in battle, but this is fortunately extremely rare to see. Although he likes to collect pearls, he doens't like being referred to being called an oyster, but he hates being called a scallop more so. The most knowledgeable on pearls.
⦁ Abilities: As an Aqua-Type NetNavi, ShieldSheldon has a type advantage over those with the fire element, but is naturally weak to the electric element. In terms of power, he is ranked the 2nd toughest of Palutena's Aqua Pentagon ranking just below TidalWhale.EXE, and ranking just above WaveMan.EXE. While a strong contender in his own right, he shines better in the defense department being made to act as a tank for allies, and himself in the heat of battle, and he is by far the better tanker in battle. Better than TidalWhale.EXE to say the least thanks to his shells. As mentioned above, the shells are usually pauldrons when not in battle, but the moment he enters battle, the shells grow huge enough to ShieldSheldon.EXE to fit his whole body into. The shells are immensely powerful enough to block the insta-delete lasers found in the ACDC Bank's computer without ShieldSheldon.EXE being at risk of deletion himself. They are also strong enough to break sword attacks. Breaking attacks however, can remove his shells, but he'll always make new ones immediately so it is impossible to keep them removed for long. Like all netnavis, he can make use of battle chips supplied to him by his operator in addition to using his own moves. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
⦁ Shell Armor: ShieldSheldon.EXE withdraws into his shell to protect himself from all incoming attacks. Staying inside the shell long enough (for 5 seconds at least) will give ShieldSheldon.EXE Super Armor & Status Guard for 4 turns. Getting hit with a breaking attack makes ShieldSheldon.EXE exit his shells immediately & he'll lose them for a small moment. He will however, regrow his shells quickly after losing them.
⦁ Shell Shot: While inside his shell, ShieldSheldon.EXE will often fire off 3 consecutive shots down the row he is currently facing. Aqua-Type.
⦁ Shell Cannon: The charged version of Shell Shot. ShieldSheldon.EXE launches 5 bursts of water down his current row. The blasts of water will spread 2 squares deep should they hit an opponent, or an obstacle. Aqua-Type.
⦁ Aqua Pulse: ShieldSheldon.EXE, when not shielded, fires a pulse beam spanning a short 4 square range in a short T formation. Those hit by the pulse will be confused for 5 seconds. Aqua Type.
⦁ Scalding Cannon: ShieldSheldon.EXE will fire off a blast of hot water 3 squares deep. Sometimes he'll even fire down 4 squares deep. This attack is hot enough to deal double damage to even wood-type enemies. Aqua-Type.
⦁ Reflecting Shell: When not in his shell, ShieldSheldon.EXE will immediately swing one of his shells to reflect an oncoming attack back at the one who sent the attack. This usually deals half the amount of damage ShieldSheldon.EXE would've received.
⦁ Shield Throw: ShieldSheldon.EXE throws his shells down into the enemy field with one going down his current row, and the other going into a pit hockey style of attack. Aqua-Type. Breaking Attribute.
⦁ Razor Shell: ShieldSheldon.EXE shrinks one of his shells & slashes down 3 squares wide & then in a V shape. Aqua-Type. Sword Attribute.
⦁ Bound Attack: ShieldSheldon.EXE withdraws into his shells & bounces about in a figure 8 fashion, hitting all unfortunate enough to be in his path. Breaking Attribute.
⦁ Smash Clamp: ShieldSheldon.EXE will position his shells into a capture position, then slams his shell shut quickly. Should his shell catch someone, the opponent is then smashed down 3 times for 40HP of damage per hit. He will attempt to capture someone 3 times. Aqua-Type. Breaking Attribute.
⦁ Guard Shell: ShieldSheldon.EXE puts up 3 energy shields into the front column. These shields absorb & fire back ranged attacks at the target who launched the attack. If a melee attack was used, then the shields will respond with the appropriate attack used on them. For instance: if a Lifesword attack was used, the shields will respond with one Lifesword of their own each. The reflected attacks deal the full damage that would've normally been received. The shields last for 5 turns, but can be blown away like a barrier or aura, but it'll only be a matter of time before he puts up new shields.
⦁ Mirror Shell A: ShieldSheldon.EXE forms a copy of himself & the two stand at opposite ends of one another in the 2nd row with the copy always occupying the enemy side. They then throw the shell they hold in a pit hockey style attack before finishing in an Alpha formation. Aqua-Type.
⦁ Mirror Shell B: This version sees ShieldSheldon.EXE cloning his shells into 4 copies instead & sending them into all 4 corners of the battlefield with 2 on the enemy's side, and 2 on his. He will then begin to dash between the shells in an attempt to strike the opponent. Should the shells be struck, they will fire back at the enemy with an Aqua Ball that always deals 50HP of damage.
⦁ Bounding Smash: ShieldSheldon.EXE's ultimate attack. He will position his shells into a capture position as with Smash Clamp, but upon catching an opponent, he instead sends them for a wild bounding ride that once again goes in a figure 8 formation for 7 trips. Aqua-Type.
