Twilight had just left for business in Canterlot, leaving Spike at the castle by himself since he is now matured, he's since given up his crush on Rarity and found out that Scootaloo harbored feelings for him. But Spike wasn't sure. He and Scootaloo started dating and he soon found out that they had a lot in common.

Scootaloo one day decided to give "Ogres And Oubliettes" a try and found out she loved the game, Spike in turn tried doing stunts and realized he loved the thrill and adrenaline rush that came with it, Spike was home alone for the night so he invited Scootaloo to join him in a game of "O and O", it started raining before Scootaloo got there so Spike met her at the door with a towel.

"Heya, Spike. Ready for some O and O?" Scootaloo asked as Spike wrapped a towel around her.

"You bet, Scootania of the elf kingdom." Spike responded, calling her by her character name.

The orange pegasus blushed as she kissed Spike on the cheek and walked inside, it had been five months since they started dating and it was going swimmingly.

Spike set out the game board as he sat in front of Scootaloo, blushing as the rain trickled down her face and dribbled off her mane. They began their adventure as the storm picked up. Lightning soon lit up the sky and thunder crashed causing Scootaloo to let out a scream and cover her ears.

"Hey, are you ok, Scoots?" Spike asked as he placed an arm around her.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Let's just continue the game." Scootaloo said, desperately trying to change the subject as she rolled her twenty-sided polyhedral die which landed on one. "O-oh would you look at that, it looks like the Squidzard, blasts one of my arms and I lose it. Oh darn."

Spike gently holds her head and pulls her to meet his eyes. "You shouldn't lie to me, Scoots. Please tell me what's wrong." Spike said gently as Scootaloo began to blush, both out of love, but also embarrassment.

"Alright, I'm afraid of thunderstorms." Scootaloo mumbled low enough that Spike couldn't hear.

"I'm sorry, what did you say?" Spike asked her.

"I'm afraid of thunderstorms." Scootaloo said loud enough for him to hear. "I have been since I was young, there was one night when I was all by myself, and nopony was around." Scootaloo opened up as Spike scooted closer to her.

Spike put a claw around Scootaloo and pulled her into an embrace. "Don't worry fair Scootania, Garbunkle will protect you." Spike said in character as Scootaloo blushed looking up at him.

Their eyes met as they both stared at each other, Spike's deep emerald green eyes shined brightly as Scootaloo's grayish-purple eyes did the same, both shined with love as their heads came closer together, and finally, their lips met and formed into a kiss.

They both closed their eyes as they embraced each other, Spike wrapped his arms around Scootaloo's body and Scootaloo enveloped Spike with her wings and arms as their tongues entered a wrestling match.
