The object that Zosa is adjusting is purposely obscured because I haven’t done enough research to know exactly what she would be doing here to monitor Noah for changes. I’m already treading on thin ice with the science in this story as it is, so I’m showing as little detail with the medical equipment as possible to avoid perceptions that Zosa is misusing any of it.
In Morty’s lengthy declaration, “Your friends won’t give up on you. None of us are giving up on you”, it isn’t just Noah’s parents that he means to represent in the second sentence.
