(this will go into my scraps a week or so later)
so i watch 11,373 people on FA.
so i get like 500-600 a day if i stay ontop of it and not be out all day.
i SOMETIMES can do 1k. when isift trhough the submissions.
i did a quick vote:

so i went with the nuke option.
i was feeling of doing the 5k submissions i had.
but nah im just not feeling it ay.
so what i did was went through some pages and filled a entire window.
and im going to start over.,
i REALLY hate nuking the arts..
i want to see it all, fv the ones i like most...
and i always feel bad for nuking...
so to the resit that i just nuked, i am deeply sorry <3
but do know I would have +faved them if i had the energy and pateinces to sit here day in day out no sleep
to go through 5k submissions, I just vale my sleep more and have other irl duties to attent to..
and trying to do 5k each day with 500 added onto it each day is just not fun..
so again, i deeply apologize...
I would gladly fav the ones i just nuked.

hate going on holidays with no internet, otherwise iit all builds up and i have to nuke ;-;

It might be time to reconsider how many people you watch. Do you honestly see art from all those that you watch and are there some that no longer interest you as much. Are you favoriting art made made by those artists every couple posts?
Being pickier in these cases might be a good thing. I understand watching friends or even continuing to watch artists that you really like even if they post infrequently. But 1k posts a day is 14 pages to go through, which is almost absurd if you aren't able to keep up on it.

How did you even find 11k people to follow in the first place unless you were just watching almost everyone that ever came up in the search.
It seems to me you have a very low threshold for watching and favoriting art which is causing most of the problem. Like you are the person who rather than picking like a single favorite thing, you just like it all equally which can lead to indecision but with how online stuff works, nothing is physical so it allows you to just pack rat everything you see for the fear of missing out on something.
Is there a style of art you like more than others? Etc.
Like it feels like you need to become more discerning about what you want from the artists you follow.
It seems to me you have a very low threshold for watching and favoriting art which is causing most of the problem. Like you are the person who rather than picking like a single favorite thing, you just like it all equally which can lead to indecision but with how online stuff works, nothing is physical so it allows you to just pack rat everything you see for the fear of missing out on something.

To me, it sounds like you need to whittle it down to you almost most favorite artists and start evaluating what you get from them and how much you like them and why you like them.
Not having a style you like over another is fine, but content wise almost certainly would be a big component.
I have built up a pretty large pile of saved images, but I can't even look at all of them, so I have been considering filtering through them and deleting anything I don't find immediately enticing. The live fast culture means you pile in a lot of things at a whim without really considering if it something you are going to enjoy or even be aware of long term.
Not having a style you like over another is fine, but content wise almost certainly would be a big component.

Like even cutting out some of the artist that post massive amounts of art at lower quality versus those that post occasionally but with much higher quality will help slow down how many posts you get into your notifications.

I think I only follow in the ballpark of 3k people, most are relatively inactive, but I had the outset of making sure I was only following people whose art I truly liked a vast majority of, or people who had an interesting style, or people who became friends over time.
Ultimately it is a matter of what you want out of this site, and what you are willing to deal with and then living with it. I get this post was to be a vent type post, but usually if you are venting about something, something is bothering you and is a problem, and a problem has a few solutions, and this is merely my suggestion about how you can make all of this more manageable.

I understand, but I think your threshold bar for that is kind of low, so it makes it really easy to just like everything.
So it is hard to say what to do or how to reduce the number of people you watch. But even starting with just going through an artists page from the list on your profile page or as you get submissions might be something to do, and then really thinking about it. And it is going to suck, but you can always circle back to people if you are finding you are truly missing there work.
