Thank you very much for letting me part of all of this that evening, Chevron! I'm so terribly sorry I was lagging so damn hard and freezing literally every other minute! Don't know if has to do with Cirrex's new complicated polygon updates for the map (couldn't even find anything anyway) or if it had to do with everyone changing their avatars constantly causing hiccups on my computer, but that was 45 minutes of Hell on my end. X(
Nevertheless, I'm sorry for freaking out, and it was a real honor getting to be part of the new promotional images for the world itself in general!
I'd love to contribute something of my own sometime as far as Laserdome in the future! Well, once I have a better PC anyway. I could always do something, but even so much as a one-minute video would take till the Apocalypse with my Internet. TwT

Probably was a combination of everything you described.
There's a button on the control panel where you configure the Laserdome arena that saus "I have a potato PC!" That will adjust the world graphics so it causes less resource usage on your PC. It might help.
