Oof! The tension is real! Good for him for not turning back though. Abe doesn’t need that kind of grief in his life, even though it is his fault. One can hope that those involved will have the strength to move on.

I feel like the only gay guy who doesn’t think Ruby’s a bitch at this point. Haha. Maybe it’s cause I know the full backstory and where her arc goes. I really like her character at the end.

That got to me too! I wouldn't say she's behaving outright "bitchy" (not that that warrants name calling, anyhow), it looks like how people who have been hurt lash out. It's not good but I don't think what she's doing is, well, bitchy.

I think it may just be misogyny in furry spaces. A woman cannot have flaws or unsympathetic traits without being labeled a bitch. Men are usually given more leeway.

There's also a lot of splitting - a character is either entirely good or entirely evil, with no middle ground.

It's frustrating!

Oh for god's sakes. : ( What a manipulative, horrible thing to say. I instantly resent people more when they say these kinds of things. Setting a boundary is one thing, but vocally throwing people to the dirt when you're not given what you want is gross.

After reading through some comments , it is interesting that she think Basil will leave him instead of the other way around. Both Basil and Auburn seem to have their own flaws and things they need to work through, hopefully they can work on them together for a good ending but who knows at this point

She knows Abe much better than Basil. She thinks that if he winds up in a relationship he's going to end up sidelining him like he did with her. Basically, she thinks Abe is going to eff it up.

That's interesting, we'll if that's the case then I guess my question would be Is this how her relationship started with him too? Him thinking that she was "different" from what he's used to? Although I seems the case for Auburn and her was that he never tried reciprocating her feeling. I say that just based off of how he told her that they just had a sexual relationship and he never was never going to go beyond that. Sorry for the block of text I'm just a bit invested haha

I care a lot about blocking and movement of characters and how they interact with the environment. Glad to know someone picked up on some of the details!
