ANOTHER lovely birthday gift for my 2021 birthday. This one was SO FUN! I got to watch the stream as he created this one. It started off so shaky though since he basically DEMANDED that he draw something for me but I was so tired! I ended up tossing out the idea that it be a night scene, and night of course goes hand in hand with bedtime, so that eventually lead to this being done!
Basically everything was his idea as this went along. I may have suggested a single big shirt as PJ's, but the cute prints and color scheme were all him, as well as the Gamecube and Animal Crossing and the bunny plushy and drink and...I really love how this looks! GOSH is being in a dark room illuminated by the glow of a TV nostalgic for me!
I could tell as soon as he did the pose that he was going to shoot for some visible padding >.> When it got to the time for him to draw it he just goes "obviously she's padded, what should it look like?" XD. I THINK I remember talking as if this were Pull-Ups instead of a standard diaper, not like you could really tell from this angle though. STILL! He did well without it being like...blatant, egregious?
I always feel iffy doing "upskirt" style shots for padding. I hardly ever ask for them, it usually feels very cheap to me, but I don't get that feeling from this one thankfully.
Gosh do I love night scenes :D Nighttime in general is my favorite time of "day." It's just so quiet and peaceful, and the temperature is just right (keep in mind I live in a normally hot climate.) The lighting is so peaceful at night, you really get to appreciate a warm glow of some little lights or candles even. Not to mention the stars and other celestial bodies! It just makes for such a beautiful scene :D
Also, look at that bunny TV/DVD, I wish I had something that cool when I was a kid! I had my grandmother's old wood paneled TV that used dials and only had 13 channels and used extra old-school hookups for consoles. I never minded it as a kid though, it worked fine! Gosh did things sound strange when I finally switched to a stereo TV though :x
He really went all out for this one, it is SUCH a gorgeous piece. Thank you once again for this beautiful gift ♥
