To prepare myself properly for hosting and broadcasting during this tournament, I set up my own personal "war room" in the event I needed to have multiple facilities at my command.
On the left, my former rig, an Asus Republic of Gamers 751 laptop (circa 2014) was prepared to host a VRChat Laserdome instance on an alternative Steam and VRChat account tied to the laptop.
On the right, my workstation HP Pavilion dv7000 laptop had Discord and the Challonge brackets at the ready, while Discord, Challonge, and documentation on all the teams was available on all my laptops and my VR headset computer, which in itself is an Asus The Ultimate Force rig that possesses more power than I could possibly imagine when I got it last November!
Meanwhile, I've got plenty of Mountain Dew to carry me through this tournament!

So you run two laptops - one of them being from the mid 2010's - and have no issues.
I run an all-around HP desktop with a less-than-bare minimum graphics card and RAM stick, and I suffer every other damn minute with stutters, freeze-ups, and time-outs. Even with customized avatar settings so that nobody's avatars load up automatically (those that aren't my friends anyway).
IT JUST DON'T ADD UP!
