Originally submitted to The Foxhole, a one-shot apa dedicated to vulpines, produced by John Cawley in 1985. This was intended for the Foxhole Calendar that was packaged with the apa. While it didn't make the calendar proper (I was hoping for a November page), it did appear near the end of the issue.

Was thinking of mentioning it, although I did this illo long before I found out about the restaurant in North Hollywood. Regretfully, the real restaurant has a "hunter" theme (i.e. mounted guns on the walls, etc.) rather than a foxy one. The food used to be good when they advertised "home cooking," but then it changed owners and all the food ended up being pre-prepared and/or frozen. Disappointing.
We have a restaurant called the Moose Cafe. Guess what their theme was... LOL
