An art piece based on Miles' backstory; he's not a "true" smilodon, but a genetic hybrid created in a lab with the intent of creating better, stronger soldiers and living weapons.
While they may have succeeded in bringing deadly predators back from the dead, making them actually listen to their creators proved to be much more difficult. Miles would later break free and start seeking his own path in life - a daunting challenge, for a being who has known nothing but the singular purpose they were made for.
