Oh it was kind of experimental. I didn't have any specific measurements. I just chopped up a couple heads of broccoli, 5 potatoes, half an onion, half a garlic, and 4 jalapenos. Boiled it all in some chicken broth until they were all soft, and then melted in a pound of cheddar, and added some milk and butter, a little bit of extra salt and spices to taste, and just a bit of flour to help thicken it up a bit. It came out a tad thin, so I might of used a little too much broth and milk, but the flavor was great!
That sounds pretty awesome! More than enough for me to start playing around with on my own, too. Thank you!
If you're interested, my personal burger recipe is:
1/2 cup bacon, diced
1/2 cup cheddar, shredded
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 lb ground beef
1 tbsp stone ground mustard (I think they call it 'ancient mustard' now)
2 egg yolks
1/4 cup jalepeno, diced
Just mix it all together in a bowl and portion/shape it into patties.
