Because of its unprovoked war on Ukraine, the Russian army has been on the receiving end of many fine American products making this conflict a giant testing ground for the military industry. New to the theater are HIMARS rockets by Lockheed Martin which target Russian assets behind their lines, virtually undetected and with a precision unlike what Russia is lobbing, namely artillery shells and dumb rockets in a scattergun approach that obliterates everything. As a result of this precision targeting of their weapon stockpiles and command posts and in accord with their reliably horrendous war practices, Russia has now, without conscience, turned Europe’s largest nuclear power plant into a fortress, preventing it from being targeted but increasing the chances of a nuclear disaster on Ukrainian soil through their own negligence again.

Any weapon system is only as good as those operating it and you have to hand it to the soldiers of Ukraine who adapted so well with little training on it. One day this war will end, will it be with a negotiated settlement, a stalemate result of attrition, or the collapse of the Russian Federation? It is hard to tell but precision weapons like HIMARS are turning the tide. Next to be supplied will be the Harpoon anti ship missile manufactured by Boeing and the NSM (naval strike (cruise) missile) made by Raytheon.

I for one loved Scandinavia when I visited but to live there would certainly be a challenge. It is at least far from the dangers of war and though they are thankful and love their adopted country they report it is much more expensive to live there than Ukraine or Poland. Please help them if you can.
