It's rare to see Petra bab out completly. However, since Miranda started taking her to a local "adult daycare" Petra has been finding it easier to slip into baby mode. Maybe it's something about being surrounded by other littles, or having so many toys around, or all the caretakers fauning over her but being in that place just has a way of making her little side come out.
Today, Miranda thought Petra could use some stress free time. So, the bird's been droped off at the daycare while Miranda went off to run some errands. The typically shy and reserved blue jay dosn't mind it. Relaxing in a play pen with a bottle, some toys, and lots of plushies, Petra's having a great time.
I won this piece in a raffle from
KRASHNIK and I love it a lot! It's still weird to me to see Petra drawn in someone elses style, maybe beacause I always draw her head so big. I mean, in some pics Petra's practically a Funko pop. But I do love this pic! Krashnsfw was super nice and great to work with while this was being made and I couldn't be happier. Thanks again for this Krashnsfw!
Also, please ignore the fact that Petra has human shaped feet here and she's never had that before. They just looked better for the pic this way and they were probably a lot easier to draw.

As for her human feet, you can see her cute little human toes through her socks. If I had a sock fetish, I'd be all over it.

The feet did turn out really cute. I almost feel like it's a shame that this went to a character that doesn't normally have feet like that. I actually have another character that this would have worked better with but I haven't introduced her yet. But, she doesn't have human feet either so....yeah. Still love this pic though :3

Human feet are just so convenient when it comes to shoes and other footwear.
Animal feet are almost always barefoot. Don't their feet get cold? Naturally, anthros would invent their own footwear, but it would look super dumb (imagine a pair of Nikes designed to fit on a dog's foot).
