HELL YES IT'S SNOWING IN WASHINGTON 8D

Last year, we had no snow at all, though I blame that on the fact that we got a metric fuckton the year before. And it snowed a bit on Saturday morning, though not enough to cover the ground in snow. Today? SNOOOOOOOOOOOOW. Enough to cover anything that isn't pavement in a white blanket of fluffiness. C: Though it's not too high up either, it's not even an inch. But it's still something.

I don't quite get why snow is the personification of complete happiness for everyone, really. It makes roads dangerous to drive on, and it makes already wet and cold days wetter and colder. Not to mention that winter is naturally the time of year where everyone's moods start to gradually decline. But for some reason, snow makes things exciting. Maybe it's the way it makes everything look. On a snowy day, there's white fluffy blankets of snow everywhere, and the sky looks a brighter blue than usual. So the atmosphere does come off as bright and cheery, even without the assistance of sunlight. It's kinda like how Christmas lights make the darkness look more beautiful, I guess, except it gives off more of a child-like glee instead.

Of course, maybe I'm overanalyzing after getting hit smack between my beanie and scarf ninja mask by a snowball earlier today, BUT WHO CARES 8D
