I know.... I know.... it's been forever.. but I really am a bad procrastinator... but uh, for those that care here's another bit I suppose...

Summit Government
Something was off. Not in a bad way. Heather awoke to the sun shining on her diminutive form through the exposed window in the living room. For some reason she felt empowered by it. Sure sitting in the sun was always a pleasant pastime on human-earth especially if it was accompanied with a great view. It strangely felt different here. The feeling wasn’t the same on anthro-earth. She would puzzle it over if things didn’t suddenly start shaking with the familiar booming footsteps approaching.
Keela emerged from the hallway now certainly looking like a full fledged scientist sporting a white buttoned up lab coat that oddly defied gravity at the back as it flared out a little. She had her name badge ID at the front displaying her picture , name, and other tidbits she couldn’t see from so far away. Eyeing the couch she smiled once she spotted the tiny girl and laid her hand out for her. Still a little hesitant Heather didn’t get on right away. The tigress kindly didn’t rush it, letting her move at her own speed. Something she really appreciated. When ready she climbed aboard taking her previous seat. “So what’s for breakfast I guess?” She tried her best to be casual… but her voice still sounded so meek.
“An on the go muffin, I’m already running a little late,” she mused using her free hand to pick up said item in the kitchen. From her perch Heather guessed it was a double chocolate. More familiar things linking their worlds.
“Oh, I hope I’m not going to get you in trouble.”
“Hardly... when they see you as the reason I’m late I’ll most certainly be excused so do not fret about it. You are okay with muffin crumbs at least?” She held the muffin close letting the human grab what she could. From the distance it was before it looked so ordinary but now up close she could see much more detail. Nearly every pore and crack in the surface. It was a little gross. If she didn’t know it was a muffin she might not have accepted. Still she dug her hands into it, slicing what she could then pulled out a small circle. To the giantess above it was barely a dent. Seeing Heather had her piece the muffin was taken away where a Heather sized bite was taken out of it. The tiny human watched as boulder crumbs bounced off Keela’s chest who was completely oblivious of it happening. Such a simple act was leaving her awe-struck seeing it from this new perspective. Raising her piece up to her mouth she tried to take her mind off it. Her head was starting to get dizzy again.
Keela kept herself steady, but otherwise paid the human little mind as she used her tail to grab and hold her muffin so her free hand could grab daily essentials like keys, purse, and an ID badge for her job and use the door. Heather was a little envious of the tiger’s third arm. In her driveway was a sedan maybe only three years old well kept. Behind the tigress Heather got a good look at the house. It wasn’t anything crazy. Small, simple, and homely looking. Given her occupation Keela no doubt had a great Salary but chose to keep things quaint. Or maybe there was a basement holding all of her studies? Mad scientist gadgets?
Getting into the car Keela set Heather in one of her cup holders. When seeing Heather looking a little perplexed she explained, “In case I have to make a hard brake because of some idiot. I don’t want you to be sent flying from the passenger seat and splattered against a wall. I’d also assume you wouldn’t want to be tossed around in my purse.”
That did make sense to the human who nodded and sat back in her spot. Glancing up she could see a standard car radio. “What kind of music do you listen to?” Trying to make small talk so she could get to know who’d likely be her long time company for who knew how long was wise. Plus she was curious about world comparisons again.
“Hmm? Oh… I like many kinds but uh classics, orchestral… and 80’s mostly,” she answered starting up the car. Heather could feel the vibrations of it humming to life then a bit of a buzz as it smoothly went along its way. “Are those also human genres?”
“They are, that’s mostly why I asked. So strange just how copy-paste a lot of things are. Even your car is familiar. Is it a mid-size civic sedan twenty twenty?
“Exactly right. Though I agree it is strange, perhaps for you it is a good thing. Although you’re tiny you are at least not completely a fish out of water technology-wise? You can keep up with and understand everything around you.”
“I guess… wait, are there anthro fish people?”
“I mean there are regular fish, but yes, there are those things. My best friend is a shark who likes being ripped. She’s basically my workout partner.”
“So wait do they still need-“
“Hold that thought,” the tigress interrupted as the car came to a stop. “We’re here. Best take the time to prepare yourself for presentation and ask questions later.” She laid her hand down to the cup holder, again letting Heather get on herself and get comfortable on Keela’s bean bag paw pads.
“R-Right Uhm any advice? Just any information I guess?”
“The board consists of five members. They’re not the very top, but they are the bosses I answer too. They decide if I deserve funding or not. They’re mostly passive people but there’s one… an eagle… who will be the one that’ll be the most stern. Unlike the rest he’s actually been in combat and has little patience for bullshit. Just keep your nerve about you. Your mere existence should be enough to make this meeting a big success for me which in turn a big success for you to get you home… eventually. Anyways I gotta shove you in my pocket. Can’t let anyone else but them see you… just in case.” Not giving Heather a chance to respond she slid the tiny into her lab coat pocket. Being already late Keela was undoubtedly in a rush so Heather didn’t fight her about it. Her time would be better spent preparing to be ready for five new anthros all likely as big as Keela… and no doubt far less kind.
Time passed. She could feel Keela walk as the jacket swayed with her movements. There was a loud beeping sound. Someone telling her to present ID and put anything metallic on a tray. A security check with a metal detector, followed by even a retinal scan? Even more she couldn’t quite tell exactly what by sound. The place was pretty secure, unsurprisingly. Those sounds soon faded, however , replaced with double doors opening and murmurs on the other side. Four new voices chatting. Likely the board team. The fifth likely there but given Keela’s description remaining silent.
“You are aware of how late you are Mrs. Gabriella? It had better be for a good reason.” One, likely the eagle by how His tone and the way he spoke had such an authority to it. Even the other members were silent when he was talking. The murmuring not just fading but ceasing instantly.
“Y-Yes sir. I do have a very good reason. It has to do with case file YR00-34. Alternate Earth.”
That got him to lean forward or so Heather heard by his chair squeaking. The other members started whispering amongst themselves about it as well until he again spoke. “Another frozen one has appeared?”
“N-No sir. Better. A living one has arrived.” The quiet murmurs turned to loud disbelief. They lost all of their professionalism briefly until the eagle reeled them back in.
“Then by all means present the specimen.”
Nodding the tigress fished Heather from her pocket and placed her on the podium at the top. The tiny human flailed a little. The steep angle threatened to send her tumbling back towards Keela’s chest but she kept herself steady. She could hear the board’s excitement once she’d appeared. She equally was intrigued by them. They were all different species of animal. From left to right there was a horse, a deer, an eagle, a lion, and a cat. The eagle looking to be the one in charge of the rest of the sounds and Keela’s warning before weren’t indicating enough. She could tell why, even knowing nothing about him he looked like he’d been through hell and back. Patches of his feathers missing scars on the flesh that remained. His eyes and demeanor still serious even with her presence making the others deviate from their normal behavior.
“Even with my eyes, I can see a little figure, but the size is still so small to fully make out. Bring her up, let us pass her along.”
Heather felt the tigress tense up through the podium. Her hands grabbing the sides of it tightly. She herself also did not want these shady strangers holding her, she still wasn’t even fully used to Keela.
“Uh Uhm uhh, that is to say… ehm… m-maybe we don’t do that? Sh-She’s extremely, uh, still scared sirs and uh-uh prone to f-fainting so-“
“Quiet.” The podium shook as the eagle man snapped at Keela. “Miss Gabriella Our meeting today was about your funding. Before you presented us with this possible live specimen it was going to end. Even we have our bosses and they were tired of spending on a whimsical otherworldly fantasy regardless of it being real since any attempt these creatures made to come here resulted in death and were not beneficial to us at all. You now have a chance to keep your funding by letting us have a closer look. While you most certainly have something with you from here we cannot see if it is a doll or the real thing. Five minutes… is all we will need… A quick minute each, maybe less for some.”
Heather swore every-time the eagle spoke an icy chill blew through the room. No amount of cold however stopped poor Keela from sweating, heating up as she frantically tried to dissolve the situation. Heather appreciated that she really did care about her well being… she’d always cared, so now it was time to repay it, as much as she really didn’t want to be held like a toy. Without the tigress her chances of going home were zero anyways.
Waving to the giantess to get her attention she gave her the thumbs up. Admittedly she tried to shout, but couldn’t find her voice. Keela caught on, but she gave a questioning look of ‘are you really sure?’ Heather gave a nod and despite still not wanting to put her through it Keela let the human jump into her hand and be taken to the council.
They started on the right, handing her off to the cat first. Heather shakily walked into a hand? Paw? Paw-hand? That was similar to the tigress.’ The main difference being the black fur and looking more like a pet she’d have back home minus the human features. Now up close she could see they were a woman. She eyed the human curiously, even poked at an arm. “No fur… just hair,” she mumbled, “somehow it’s stranger seeing it on a living one more.”
Not seeming to be one to hold up the line she passed Heather off to the lion. Again the paw-hand was familiar but instead had yellow-gold. A man given their reddish-brown mane. Unlike the cat he didn’t mumble much, but his claws did try pinching at her shirt and pull it up. Despite the fact she was less than a mouse to him she still had the courage to push his claw away and scowl at him. It of course didn’t phase him until the cat grabbed his ear and gave it yank, making the big bad lion yelp like a kitten. He glared at her, but she gave him a stern look until he handed Heather off to the eagle.
It was such a difference compared to the other two. His arms still wing like an eagles but as they came up to where paws would be he had full on hands. They were still very feathery but it wasn’t the paw pad bean bags she had gotten accustomed to. There was also the complete tone shift. He did not have the genuine curiosity the others had. Strictly business as shown when one of those feathery digits pressed against her. She flinched, winced even expecting pain but didn’t feel anything. “Soft, certainly flesh and not plastic or mechanical. A real one,” he stated before handing her right along. He was certainly the most interesting of the group. The last two matched the first with their intrigue. The deer, a doe, was respectful, and the horse leaned over her shoulder to also glance at Heather with her. Despite how powerful he looked he seemed skittish. Perhaps he thought holding her would harm him in some way because when trying to hand her off he quickly shook his head and gave the extra time to the doe. Her and the black furred mustang were both strange to Heather. They both were animals that in her world would have hooves, but here they were again hands, granted they were far more rough and sturdy than the felines. She wondered if their feet were like that too or if that’s where the hooves were?
Finally despite what felt like five hours the five minutes ended and she was returned to Keela by an otter woman assistant. All these anthropomorphic animals… she really started to understand why Keela was surprised to learn that all humans were… humans. One collective. If even some fish could be anthropomorphic could there even be lizards or bugs? Just how many species were there?
“Given your presentation today we’ll ensure the brokers continue your funding. Begin research immediately though. You may for now keep her given you’re the only expert currently… and she seems accustomed to you. Make no mistake however… if you aren’t diligent about this there will be severe consequences.” The eagle mused laying back in his seat.
“Yessir! Believe me I will not waste a moment. I’ll be making sure to always keep notes and get theories on inter dimensional moving as quickly forward as possible.” The eagle gave a last little glare but nodded and excused Keela from the room. The tigress walked quickly out to the hall. Heather expected her to stop but she kept going, taking a left, jogging up some stairs before entering an office and slamming the door shut before sliding down it to the floor.
“Ughhhhh! I hate those meetings!” She shouted before gasping for air. Heather wasn’t surprised. That whole moment had been real tense. The mere thought that they could have taken her from Keela shook the human to the end of her core.
“God I am so sorry! That was… and you… so brave,” the tigres mewled like a house cat as she crawled over to the desk and set Heather on it. She then climbed into the chair and lounged back. “Again I’m so sorry about all that!”
Heather sighed, “Relax, I already said it’s not a big deal. You were just doing your job but still kept doing your best to care about me. At least everything worked out the way we hoped it would, right?”
“Oh! Yes yes yes! You are officially my property according to the government, not that I think of you as property of course, and I’ll be getting more funding to do more research and see if I can create a bridge between our worlds. This is so exciting!” She excitedly purred and just like before it made her forget about personal space making Heather eep as she was nearly bombarded by the tiger’s breasts when she leaned forward. “Sorry!” She shouted, jerking back up. “I’m so sorry! I really need to stop doing that...”
Panting Heather got to straightening herself back out. Really it wasn’t the fear of the danger of it all, her adventurous side loved that shit. It was the embarrassing thought of being snuffed out because of a giant pair of tiger tits. Not running from some Boulder or skiing away from an avalanche... but by another woman’s privates. “S-So what now?”
“Oh basically a continuation of last night’s questionnaire,” she smiled, pulling out pen and paper. “But more weighted in my favor. The board will want more information ASAP. With also physical demonstrations. How fast you can run, climb, etcetera.”
“Sooo will it be kinda like a physical at the doctors?”
“Kinda. Except of course you’re puny and everything is big for you so I’ll need to adjust measurements and other junk accordingly. You being tiny is the best part because it means doing everything within the privacy of my little lab. No need to be around other people.”
“Yeah that is a big positive I guess. Not being treated like a doll. One of them was trying to undress me.” She shivered.
“Well I can only pray it was because they couldn’t believe your body had no fur or scales or... never mind that doesn’t really make it any better huh? Uhm, let’s just get to the physical evaluation instead! Yeah, take our mind off it by doing some exercises! Let’s start with something easy. I have all these objects here, try to lift what you can,” the tigress smiled gesturing at her entire desk. Of the items there was a big high tech curved computer screen. A desktop for it and keyboard and mouse. Smaller items were folders, notebooks, pens, pencils, stapler, and much much more. Shrugging she decided to just get started and figured it best to start light and work up. She picked a small pink rectangle. An eraser definitely used by the blackened end, it was twice as big as her head. Not expecting much she grabbed and lifted it without trouble... or any effort? Confused, she juggled it in her hands. Sure she expected it to be easy but, it was almost weightless to her. Regardless of how light it might be, to be able to just juggle it around wasn’t… right…
“Something the matter?” Keela asked, looking up from a notepad she’d been scribbling in.
“I-It’s so light...” Heather mused.
“Yes it is an eraser after all.”
“But it’s twice as big as my head! I’ve lifted rocks this big at home and they never felt as light as air...”
“Light as air?” That got the tiger to sit up and pinch away the tool curiously. To the tigress it was of course nothing, except certainly not light as air. Intrigued, she rolled a pencil to Heather with her tail. “Then let’s try this.”
Nodding Heather fully understood what Keela wanted. Reaching down she got her hands under it and lifted. Though not as easy as the previous object it still wasn't even a workout. It being awkwardly long was more of a pain than anything. It was maybe the equivalent of a gallon of milk from a store, something she bought all the time and was used to. Keela wrote more notes. Seeing how easily the human managed the task she didn’t need words. She kept on going.
Tossing the pencil to the side. Heather approached the stapler next. A bit of a jump, but now she was really into seeing how far she could go with this. Despite being insignificant the thought of being super strong to compensate was getting her adventurous mode rolling. Just like before she got it up over her head. Definitely not weightless like everything before but still manageable. Maybe the equivalent of three milk gallons, maybe four.
“Incredible...” Keela murmured above. Heather had to agree. She was expecting her puny form to be weak but here she was bench pressing things bigger and heavier than her. “This might take longer than I thought.”
“Any idea why I’m so strong? Like even that stapler was little more than two to four milk jugs to me.”
“As always only theories until more information is gathered. Not great ones either...”
Even the science lady was stumped. Rubbing her head Heather thought it over and one thing came to mind. “Uhm hey I think I should mention something. This morning when I was waiting on the couch the sunlight was leaking through, shining on me.”
“Oh, my apologies, I must not have thought to fully shut them! I hate when light hits my face while I sleep so I can only imagine-,”
“Nonono, that's not what I’m getting at. Normally sitting in the sun just makes you feel warm and nice right?”
“Yes I do enjoy a nice sun bath once in a while.”
“Well that’s how it should feel at home, but here it was... it was... Uh I’m not sure how to really describe it but it was different. Kinda empowering I guess?”
“Super powers from the sun? Sounds like a comic book... Still, if whatever brought you here has allowed such mercy onto you then we should not look this gift horse in the mouth Hmm? Let’s keep upping the ante until you can’t handle more?”
Nodding she kept trying just about anything she could get her hands on. The fact she didn’t have to be totally helpless lifted her spirits. It came to a peak at the desktop. Eyeing up the processor she got her hands underneath and finally found something that was going to give her trouble. She was able to get it up a little, tilting it over was possible, but lifting it? Currently out of the question, but the fact she could get any lift at all on it was astounding.
“Fascinating! I can only wonder if this is your upper limit or if there is more? Is it a multiplier to your existing strength or if just absorbing more sun is all you need?”
“I don’t know but this is so fucking amazing!!” Heather shouted, pumping her fist up and walking back up to the tigress. “I’m super small, in an alien place, but I’ve got super powers like Wonder Woman or Superman! Got anything else for me to lift? Like I know I just found my max but I wanna try more!”
Keela giggled. Heather’s brimming adventurous side was a little infectious. Certainly cute. “I do, but let’s test something else now that we have a limit on strength… like... endurance? With a little bit of strength added in?”
“Okay sure. How are we going to do thahhh-!” Suddenly the tigress pushed Heather onto her back with just her pointer finger and then pinned her there with the digit. Going from respecting personal space to teasing like that was a little jarring, but Heather was too excited to care. Grunting she tried to push back on it and was surprised to see she was actually lifting it a bit. “Wh-What’s the big idea?!”
“I wish to feel how strong you are. It is impressive, but also once your strength ebbs I want you to tell me how you feel while I’ve got you plastered under my finger. If it hurts or just feels like a big’ol weight is keeping you locked in place. Like a weighted blanket.”
Understanding what the tigress wanted she did her best to push the finger higher and hold it as long as she could but regardless of how strong she’d gotten she was still a bug to a Goliath and in time lost her hold and dropped it. The all encompassing finger and its pad cushion slapped her back down and applied such pressure... but it didn’t hurt. It was like Keela said. There was this weight holding her, but no pain and that’s what she relayed to her.
“And that was all I could apply too. We can take this up a notch, but I must ask your permission. Are you okay with being stepped on?”
Without context that’d be such a weird thing to ask but in context and now fully committed to finding out all they could Heather nodded and let Keela pick her up to be moved to the floor. Once there the tigress kicked off her right shoe and pulled off a pink sock then laid her foot flat before Heather to observe while she wrote some notes before starting. No doubt Keela wanted to be barefoot to keep things soft and weight focused but also to feel the situation out herself. Would it be like stepping on a lego?
She started to feel a little squeamish though. This was the first time she’d been at the lowest level of height with the tigress. All prior times she’d been at stomach and up. Here on the floor with the tiger’s foot alone being as big as a house was stupefying her little mind. Looking up past her skyscraper legs, her football length stomach and chest, and finally at her head that was so distant it was a little faded in the background made her legs chatter as they threatened to fall from under her feeling too weak to just hold about the sheer atmosphere of scale the tigress presented now. Truly smaller than a mouse.
Heather was amazed like before. Just like Keena’s hands they had a sort of humanness to them but still alien with the fur, pads, and claws. She felt a little envious. Having claws would be extremely useful for climbing. Instead of needing gear she could easily scale cliffs with those beauties.
Finished writing Keela set aside her pen and paper then lifted her foot up over the ‘bug’ scurrying below. Getting on her back Heather lifted her arms up and waited. “Ready!” *woompf!* She wasn’t expecting Keela to just dump it all on her at once! Gritting her teeth she tried to push back at the black surface only to find herself completely outclassed this time. The immense pressure laid her out flat completely. It was getting hard to breathe until Keela spread her big toe and little toe out letting her head have room. “I know I said ready but what the heck?!”
“Sorry, I got a little excited. How do you feel?”
“Nrgh it’s a little hard to breathe and the weight is so intense I can’t move at all!”
“You saying I’m fat? Heather, I thought we were friends?” Keela teased.
“Do not even try that!” She shouted back squeaking at the end as somehow even more pressure was applied. Now it started to hurt. Like a pinch if it was your whole body! “Ow! Starting to hurt now!”
Letting up Keela let her lay there gasping for air. “I was almost using my full weight to stand on you. That’s quite a bit of endurance you’ve gained. Glad to know if I ever accidentally sat on you I don’t need to worry about crushing you.”
“Greaaat” Heather sarcastically replied as she slowly got to her feet. Still trying to get a full breath in. “Better not… actually do it! Okay… *GASP* what now?”
Keela put her sock and shoe back on and sat back down in her chair. Reaching down she didn’t pick up Heather but instead pulled open all the drawers on the side Heather was closest to. “Climb back up to the top of my desk. Using any means you can or that I’ve just provided. Experiment as much as you can.”
The human eyed up the task given to her. Though the desk wasn’t as tall as Keela it still was big and foreboding but with the assurance of having super tiny strength it still looked feasible. “Okay so if my arms are strong then my legs should be too.” Crouching low she prepared to do a ‘hulk’ leap. What better way to test her legs out than by going as high as she could to start?
Pushing her feet off the ground using all the strength she could muster she leapt up high. Not paying mind to how high she got yet she was more focused on being able to grab something solid to avoid going back down. Granted if she did fall back down would it even hurt? How high of a drop could she tank? Regardless she reached the top side of a drawer and grabbed its edge before she ended up falling back down. Hanging there she peered back down and gasped seeing she’d jumped high enough to grab the second drawer, an area that was just below Keela’s knee when she was sitting.
“Hmm... twenty-five inches or an equivalent of 91 feet given your very short stature. If you were me sized. For your little one and a half inch size you almost did a third of what is to you three hundred feet of tiger. You jump good.”
Pulling herself up, which was also a taxless effort, she smiled and did it again. Being this tiny she could easily stand on the drawer’s edge. This time reaching the top of the desk. Now standing at the top she marveled how far away the ground was yet in just two jumps she’d gotten here. “Come on, what’s next?!” She was pumped now. No longer needing to fearfully worry about the world around her completely with Keena and abilities like these.
“Hmm, while I do love the energy I feel we should eat a bit of it up. I could use some exercise myself so how about a speed test? How fast can you run?” She slapped her hand down stopping the human who was already going to try going as fast as she could to the opposite side of the desk. “Not here you silly girl. I know I said we could do all our testing here, but with this super human development I would like to take us to the indoor track.”
“Oh. Uhm but shouldn’t we not have a lot of people seeing me?”
“Fret not, I can call higher ups and ask for them to clear the room for us. Probably won’t get more than thirty minutes but it should suffice for our needs.”
////
Despite the power rush she was still experiencing, Heather was once again feeling small and pathetic. Standing at the starting line in such a large room that she normally wouldn’t think twice about back on human earth was churning her stomach. Keela wasn’t helping either. The anthro tigress was standing in the farthest left lane from her. This was on purpose to make sure her thundering steps didn’t cause little earthquakes that could disrupt Heather’s run, or so the tiger had said.
Keela had tossed aside her lab coat and changed into some spare tennis shoes. She didn’t look sporty, more casual in her tight blue jeans and stuffy green, open chest sweater. It was still weird seeing this furred tiger need clothes...
“Okay so! I hope to get three pieces of information from this. First is speed, obviously. How fast can an inch and a half tall human go on super sun power? Second is distance. We’re going to try the hundred meter dash. If you can’t make it to the end don’t force it. I want good numbers, not exhaustion. Third, how well you stack up with the average Joe anthro. I’m not the most athletic but my aforementioned shark friend helps keep me in shape enough. See if you can be faster than my walking, jogging, or even running speeds. Stop at any time if you get too tired. I don’t expect you to beat this entire course in one sitting. It must be miles upon miles to you after all.”
“Please don’t remind me…” Heather mused.
“Right, anyways just go as fast as you can. I’ll start out merely walking and increase my speed if necessary to keep up or even lower it. I know it might be hard, but keep your eyes off me and on the track.” Heather frowned a bit perplexed by that statement and either the tigress hadn’t finished or had seen her tiny face continued, “Because at your size there might be obstacles left behind from others. Pebbles falling off their shoes from outside, clumps of hair I guess… big ol’ dust bunnies you might see but I can’t.”
“O-Oh right, hadn’t thought of that,” Heather agreed looking around the track now. She saw what the tigress meant. There was some ‘debris’ lying around. Things that at Keela’s size would be obliterated by her feet… but for Heather were serious trip hazards. At the very least she could no doubt easily avoid them or jump over with her new strength.
“We’ll begin when I say go, you ready?” Keela asked as she finished her notes. Heather gave a double thumbs all clear. “Then let’s start. 3… 2… 1… go!”
Like a leopard the tiny human blitzed her way forward. Yet it felt like she was jogging. Still warming up to what she could really do, but it was hard to build on the speed. The obstacles she kept having to avoid like boulder pebbles and dust bunny bushes kept her from reaching higher speed. Then came Keela. Despite the track separation they’d made she could still feel the ground vibrating beneath her as she walked at a speed that kept pace with her diminutive form. At the very least it looked like a speed walk, not casual meaning she was at least pushing the tigress a little. All these paled to the new problem she was experiencing. While her body was fast her mind still wasn’t used to it. By the time she began reaching some of the obstacles she could barely manage to react. More on a long list of things to get used to, but for now her luck ran short and as she tried to leap over a stone it was short and her feet clipped the rock making her come to a skidding, rolling stop some distance away.
Grunting, she pushed herself up. Despite how big of a tumble she took she felt mostly fine. Her arms and legs weren’t bleeding, but she definitely felt a little sore. This tough body was at least something she could definitely get used to. The ground's vibrations became more powerful until they boomed loudly. Keela walked over and knelt down to inspect Heather. She didn’t try to pick her up, likely because a normal person human or anthro taking a fall like that shouldn’t be touched too hastily in case of any spine injury… or maybe she was trying better to respect personal space?
“I hadn’t seen you trip right away! I was writing down notes as I walked and I looked over and you weren’t there so I thought you stopped but you were on the ground shakily pushing yourself up! Are you okay?”
With a final heave she got back on her feet. She lightly kicked her legs, rolled her arms, and spun her head. Everything was working, nothing seemed broken or sprained but some areas were certainly sore. The right side she’d landed on hurt the most. “Mostly. Feeling a bit sore on my right. Seems I can rank that stuff as well. Think the only reason it hurt me at all is my own super strength beats my super defense.”
“Believable,” she murmured, jotting down notes again once Heather assured her safety. Once finished she rested her fluffy hand down, letting Heather gladly accept the ride and bask in those soft, bean bag paw pads. “I think that’ll be enough for today. I’ll let you rest until the end of my shift. If you get bored I can let you borrow my phone to browse our web-space. I’ve still got another two hours after all and for an adventurous one like you paperwork would get likely boring.”
“Thanks, I appreciate that,” the human smiled to the tigress' face as the hand came up close to it. Keela smiled back as she began to walk off back to her office. Everything was still big… still scary, but truly this was really starting to play with that itch that made her love to go cutting through jungles, race down dangerous rapids, and climb Mount Everest. Here the jungle was just a yard, but so small a whole new world awaits. The smallest of water drizzling down a street drain would be daring. Then Keela. Keela herself a grand mountain to conquer but one that was so soft and gentle. Truly given everything that happened it really could have been worse… but with the big tigress at her side she didn’t feel so hopeless like when she arrived. It was just another grand adventure.

////
