As I said in previous comments, even if I was born in 1983, I have been watching a rebroadcast of the show in the 1990's. Casimir, the orange dinosaur was the main character of the show with his strengths and weakness and Hippolyte, the green one, his cousin that appeared in some episode. Hippolyte could be depicted as extremely kind and extremely simple-minded taking almost everything at literal meaning (which created humorous, and sometime even cringe-making, situations).
So I decided to draw this as a (questionable) little tribute for Christophe Izard who has created the show in the 1970's and has past away yesterday.
Hippolyte: The shovel? You have told me that we should go to a burri…
Casimir: Well, listen Hippolyte. You have always been a bit "special" in the family… yet could you try to make an effort this time, just today, okay?

I will watch that show for my curiosity. Glad they are a good characters that has help them in their stories.
Casimir is wanting to help Hippolyte to be ambitious and salvage the life; however, Hippolyte has to pay attention details very well and be wise enough with the shovel.

I am not sure there are dubbed (or even subtitled) version of this old show. However, there were many little cartoons like La Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli (which I consider as a pure masterpiece in the world history of animation). I always have shown some interest for old stuffs. ^^
Usually, in this show, everybody want to help Hippolyte because he is very kind and very honest (too honest actually, almost in a pathological way). Yet his kindness and honesty are often (not to say always) causes of issues that put his friends in embarrassing situations. Usually his emotions are usually of two kinds: innocent happiness and genuine shame when he realize that his behavior caused some unlikely problem.

Zizimir !!!
I am still wondering how "Les Kassos" that has specific French (old) references like L'Île Aux Enfants, Fort Boyard, Bonne Nuit Les Petits (and even purely Parisian ones like Serge, the Subway/Métro bunny) could reach an audience the other side of the Atlantic.
PS : If you are wondering, in the original show, Casimir hadn't had much physical interactions with children like the "Kassos" seems to hint at. ^^

Hmm.... I know back then people would spread the word about it on Tumblr via animated GIF and I guess those who first discover Peepoodo were curious to see what else the studio has made. It's pretty cool that more episodes of Les Kassos are still being made on YouTube, albeit with some format changes. At least it is no longer geoblocked, so that's cool.
The Metro Bunny is always an interesting character. Especially when he was tortured by Inspector Gadget which became a pleasant duo that benefited from each other. I still have memories of when you drew that bun. xP
