Art by my partner, Crim, of an old GURPS character that I didn't get much use of sadly.
His name was Renard Vulpes-Räv, a red Refur AKA Fox Fox-Fox a red Fox.
He was subconsciously xenophobic as he was from a isolationist world whose government was very supremacist (think like the Cardassian Central Command, except less directly a military authority but still putting on the pressure that their race was just "better" than everyone) but he was also weirdness magnet and I wanted to break him by forcing him to have to learn out in space that actually his homeworld, their government and the institutional racism nurtured in to him fucking sucked.
Especially as there was going to be a xenophiliac on the ship too who absolutely wanted in his pants as Refurs rarely left the home system unless they either desperately needed money or were fugitives.
