A remake of this 2019 drawing which in itself was a design refresh for this character> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/30950279/
Laura is a character from my comic New Life; originally she was just a minor character who mysteriously appeared in Chapter 2 to help Ryan and Sara out for a brief moment and gave a little insight that not all humans were against the nivieans. As of Chapter 7 Laura has reprised her role and is now a developed main character and when she was reintroduced it was pretty obvious she was going to need a redesign so she got one.
Of Note: Her natural hair color isn't purple, it's grey (turned that color when she was 3 years old) so she often dyes it all kinds of colors.
Anywho I think I'm finally getting to the point of making half decent looking human characters, what do you think?
Also drawing folded arms is really hard still even after all these years.

They're the "hands of arms" of that makes any sense (it probably doesn't haha) and having stuff crossing over and overlapping is always a challenge especially at an angle like in this drawing (vs straight on). I probably redrew the arms a few times especially the farther away part where the hand vanishes behind her.
Well maybe for some but in the case of my characters though their fur keeps things covered. Sure I might take some liberties with some angles and situations (especially in the case of male characters being flatter down there than they probably should) but for the most part they're covered and what you guys see on screen is what the characters see.
