Here is one of the other sides of the swamp, this is pretty much right by the old beaver dam. Beaver dam's are cool and good ways across swamps and bogs, just watch out for the owners! This dam is actually abandoned so nobody's home!

In the Pacific Northwest where rain is prevalent through much of the year, we have no lack of muck n' mire, though stuff off the beaten path is a tad harder to find. Google Earth and likewise programs teamed with a bicycle and a sense of direction really help me out in finding such mucky places. Then a good exploration/survey of the territory is in order and viola, mucky muck!
