Yes like in Bitwa pod Hodowem "Battle uder Hodowa" hussar was Forced to fight on foot. and sometimes they did have a small shilds ;p but this is just cool Art and a Gift that was made by non polish person and they made absolutely amazing piece, not all need to be Historical correct and we can accept this pice as a fantasy with out problem ;p
After which they have managed to collect three carts of only unbroken arrows while at some point they even made additional wall from Tatar corpses, yes I know the battle. This was also beggining and end of biggest Tatar invasion in the period.
And I have no issue with that my man, perhaps it was a need, perhaps it was a trophy. I was only curious. Great art of course, might get something similar myself at some point.
p.s - Of course it does not have to be correct, I have incorrect and typo in my name ;p
