Biography: BurstMan.EXE is one of two additional Aqua-Type Netnavis created by Junichiro's beloved mermaid wife Palutena from a part of leftover aqua data she had some time ago after she had made TidalWhale.EXE, WaveMan.EXE, and Neptune.EXE. BurstMan.EXE was made from one such half; the other being ShieldSheldon.EXE. BurstMan.EXE resembles his Robot Master counterpart a great deal, notably in terms of his head & arm cannon, but he nonetheless has the typical netnavi build in his arms & legs & his body armor being slimmer. He also has his hoses connected to his forearms instead of on his torso as he can form his buster on either arm, or both if the situation calls for it. Like WaveMan.EXE, he has Kul Tiran Marine elements added to him to give him a sort of soldier's flare to his character. Also, in direct contrast to his counterpart: He does not show the cowardice the original is said to show in battle and is slightly much more serious as well. In the Battle Network universe, BurstMan.EXE was used by Palutena to teach student navis about the dangers of the Bubble Status ailment, and given how he was made to put this ailment to effective use, he was able to prove himself a good teacher & earned admiration among other navis. One of his challengers outside of teaching happened to be MegaMan.EXE himself & while he happily accepted Lan & MegaMan.EXE's, he proved to be too much for MegaMan.EXE to handle (After SirenWoman.EXE also bested MegaMan.EXE) and so taught navi & operator they still had much to learn. One of his most notable contributions was during the Alpha crisis during the Bubble Wash incident where he assisted his operator Palutena in deactivating one such unit in a house that she, her husband Juni, their accompanying kids, and Shantae were staying at during their stay in the universe when it had trapped Acacia & Elise in the bubbles. Thanks to said unit having a jack-in port that went completely unnoticed by the shippers, the attempt was successful that he still had time to help his brother WaveMan.EXE confront BubbleMan.EXE; who was operating the units, and make him pay for endangering the lives of their loved ones. Though he & WaveMan.EXE nearly deleted BubbleMan.EXE, he was still nonetheless satisfied when he was deleted in the end. Even before & after, he is always willing to assist in any situation that requires his attention as needed. As mentioned above, BurstMan.EXE has the mentality of a soldier being passionate, optimistic, and honorable to a great degree as he looks out for his comrades. However, while he takes situations more seriously than his robot master counterpart, he still has a happy-go-lucky attitude & can sometimes drop the seriousness at the wrong times. So more often than not, Palutena has to make him snap to during a moment of seriousness. He also shares the original's tendency to be easily startled, but only on certain occasions. He nonetheless shares the original's fondness of fesitvals & fireworks, but in contrast to the original, he enjoys steady efforts being put in & looks down on sloppy & unsteady efforts. Makes the best bubbly fireworks.
Abilities: BurstMan.EXE, in terms of power, is ranked 4th in Palutena's Aqua-Pentagon of Aqua Navis being just above Neptune.EXE, and below WaveMan.EXE. However, he is also the 2nd fastest of the 5 being beaten only by Neptune.EXE. BurstMan.EXE was made with the bubble affliction in mind as many of his attacks are centered around afflicting this ailment as much as possible. His bubbles however, last 4x longer than the standard bubble affliction would usually allow meaning they last 8 seconds instead of 2. Thusly, what BurstMan.EXE lacks in power, he makes up for in versatility. Like all navis, he also makes use of battle chips supplied to him by his operator. His abilities & attacks are as follows.
Bubble Buster: BurstMan.EXE's basic attack. He simply fires his buster down his current row. Rapid fire can cause the opponent to be stuck in a bubble if enough hits connect without fail.
Bubble Beam: The charge shot of BurstMan.EXE. He fires a rapid stream of bubbles down the row he is on. He may sometimes diverge the beam down another row. Aqua-Type.
Burst Shot: BurstMan.EXE fires a fast traveling bubble that will quickly ensnare anyone unfortunate enough to be in its path. The bubble will burst moments later after catching an enemy, damaging the trapped victim. Aqua Type.
Tri-Bubble: BurstMan.EXE unleashes 3 non-damanging yellow bubbles from a wand in his head. These bubbles act as obstacle that bounce back enemies 1 square if they try to move forward. They can be removed instantly with electric, or sword attacks.
Burst Wrap: BurstMan.EXE creates a shield similar to a Bubble Wrap battle chip, but much more advanced. Each time the bubble is hit, it will turn blue, purple, green, yellow, and red in that order. Once at red, the bubble simply doesn't vanish as it unleashes an aqua-type shockwave at the opponent who burst the bubble. This will happen immediately, and much more quickly if removed via an electric attack but with more strength, and the cost of it not regenerating right away; forcing him to summon a new one.
Rising Bubble: BurstMan.EXE thrusts his buster down onto the panel he is standing on & summons bubbles out of random panels. Getting hit by a bubble will inflict the Bubble ailment. Aqua-Type.
Burst Geyser: In the event there's a hole in the enemy's side of the field, BurstMan.EXE will instead summon a geyser from that & make bubbles from it but at a faster rate. These bubbles also inflict the bubble ailment should they connect. Aqua-Type.
Burst Bomb: BurstMan.EXE throws a bomb 3 squares ahead that explodes repeatedly in a 3x3 range. Aqua-Type.
Danger Wrap: BurstMan.EXE launches a slow moving bubble down his current row. The bubble carries a bomb inside of it and those trapped in the bubble are subjected to the bomb going off in 3 seconds. The bomb deals Aqua-Type damage.
Thunder Wrap: Same as Danger Wrap, but this uses an Electric-Type bomb instead of a normal one; indicated with these bombs being yellow & sporting a thunderbolt on top. And thanks to that, this always deals the double damage one would receive if hit with an electric attack while stuck in a bubble.
Calamity Burst: BurstMan.EXE's ultimate attack. He will use Danger Wrap to summon a Time Bomb+ onto the field & detonate it once it's on the center of the enemy's field, exploding all over & cracking all panels. Anyone unfortunate enough to be wrapped in the bubble with the bomb takes the worst damage & suffers Aqua damage as well.
