How long did it take?

well, it took me about 5 hours for 2 days. so, total probably 10 hours. My first time ever making a beanie, too. no pattern.

Nope. no model, no pattern, just me thinking it out.

Are the Ears crocheted in the round with two colors and folded?

I stitched the Orange base of the ear first, long part, bend to fold, and then I just slowly removed stitches. 2nd, I did the same with the white, and i stitched the white deep inside the ear. then, what I did on the right ear (left in the photo), was I did a standard 1 stitch with the orange yarn to bind the white edges together, and it created an extra layer and dimension that I really like. It was an improvement on the other ear, which i made first. once I get the technique down after the next few beanies I might hold a Live Stream session going over the types of stitches I used and WHEN. They ARE for sale, or commission, $20 for a single color (with white ear insides). any special custom designs and colors start at $30.

Awesome! Doesn't sound terribly difficult. I did one with cat ears for my friend and crocheted it in the round, stitching a simple triangle into the center. I definitely like how yours turned out, though. Great job!

Yeah, basically. It went pretty quickly, too. Results were not all that bad, either.
