Southern Gwenran.
These large crocodile-like creatures are often found on the sandy shores of tropical islands. The body length of the reptile reaches an average of 8 meters, where half of its body is occupied by a massive tail.
Typically, Gwenran hunt from ambush. They jump out of their cover, grab the prey with their powerful jaws and drag it under the water, drowning. Sharp claws help to disembowel a killed victim on the shore. In sea waters, the main source of food is Chlobius Spotted (shown in the illustration). But the diet also includes a variety of land animals, crustaceans, fish. Not squeamish about carrion.
Among the people of Arilia, Gwenran is the target of the hunt and the desired prey. Its meat is very tasty, and when properly cooked, it ceases to be tough. Gwenran isn't a dragon! There are two other northern species of Gwenran.
