Arrangement: Koopa Beach (Super Mario Kart)
Super Mario Kart for the SNES came out in 1992, meaning 2022 marks 30 years of that sub-series of the Mario franchise. I'm not a Mario person myself necessarily (I prefer Sonic the Hedgehog), but I do play a bit of Mario Kart (because I liked playing arcade racing games as a kid), and I've always loved the music from those games, so I decided to do a song from the first game to denote 30 years of Mario Kart.
I chose Koopa Beach, and my arrangement is for the following:
Alto saxophone
Tenor saxophone
Baritone saxophone
C trumpet
Vibraphone
Drum set
Bongos
Acoustic bass
Steel drums (grand staff)
Electric guitar
Acoustic guitar
Electric bass
