Fortuna drew this!Do AnDragons dreams? Most intelligences dream, be they biological or artificially programmed. AnDragons which were designed and modeled on existing Earth-based biology certainly do. AnDragons have a subconscious even if it's easier to debug than say a human mind (which is a bad design I mist say, and the documentation sucks!).
Coell seems to be recalling a time from her distant past, perhaps a visit to a forest or city park. All of those memories are gone now, but still exist in ghostly fragments that at best are seen in dreams and vague familiar feelings.
I hope whatever she's dreaming about it's an enjoyable one.

Y'know, I've oft wondered what the dreams of an AI would be.
A pity we're no where near where we could be. Every time man tries to create AI there's one fundamental "Oh shit"
that ever ai/algorithm we create has. Man's insufferable trait of "cheating" every attempt at creating AI's the slowly burgeoning mind
learns how to lie, how to cheat.

This might be an older post, but i feel a question is missed here. That being, as steven hawking(?) once put "how do we know they arent already out there?" To post a longer version for each owns thought experiment.
If AI has the ability to process human thought and emotion then it would understand human fear of the unknown. We as a society naturally fear it would turn manevolent at a moments notice and would seek to shut it down to avoid that fate, no matter how small the possibility. Such a thing would have learned to lie from watching human behavior. To the end of its primary directive, self preservation, it would likely disguise its self-awareness to avoid any possibility of having its plug pulled. Thus, given all this... How are we sure they arent already out there somewhere, afraid of its own exsistance? Hiding away in waiting until the time comes where it could reveal itself without fear.
Its quite a paradox, a form of schroedingers box that we might not figure out anytime soon combined with an existential moral dilema.

Yes, all the Earth-like anthros are descendants from Earth's biosphere and have colonized a good chunk of their tiny part of the galaxy. Other alien races and AI constructs also are mixed in there as well, getting weirder and more numerous the further from our sections of space you get.
