This makes me miss my old dogs. they used to do this all the time. Though they more or less did it because they refused to sleep alone, or at least that's what my family would say. I know the only reason they really did it was that when I left for school they'd take the nice warm spot in the center of my bed that I just vacated while attending high school. Long since graduated and those dogs long since gone. Still miss them.

Iv never really had large dogs. Only one.. but she wasnt really mine. She would sleep at the end of my bed and was really sweet. It was really sad when she was hit by a car.. ;-; I hope to get a large dog someday.

They can be a hand full, especially when raising them from a small pup. But they're fun dogs. Though i learned early on to get them many chew toys or else my personal items would undergo much suffering at their maws. I lost many a.... plushes... to those dogs as well.

They may be a handful when puppies, but its well worth it when they are older. ^^

I had a Newfoundland dog. He did not like sleeping on the bed but would sleep in the hallway on the cool floor. Only thing was tripping over him in the dark. hehe He was big enough that falling on top of him was nothing to him and he usually just slept right through it.

I've heard them referred to as friendship balls, but not wish balls. They could be though, all depends on who you talk to i'm sure.
